A micro-pipe jacking manufacturer discusses the principles of the secondary pipe jacking process.

The secondary pipe jacking process involves first jacking the pipeline with a small-diameter pipe jacking machine. Once the pipeline reaches the receiving well, the pipe is transferred to a mud pipe for jacking. Once the mud pipe reaches the receiving well, the pipe head and pipeline are then jacked up. When the pipe head reaches the receiving well, the pipeline is formed.

The specific construction procedures of a secondary pipe jacking manufacturer are as follows:

Prepare the pipeline along the designed line and prepare for receiving. For pipes with an inner diameter of 300 mm to 500 mm, the working well diameter is 2.0 meters and the receiving well diameter is 1.5 meters. The distance between the working well and the receiving well is generally no more than 60 meters.

Fiberglass reinforced plastic pipe manufacturers perform pipe jacking installation. First, measure the pipe, install the pipe jacking machine in the working well, and implement waterproofing measures.

The pilot pipe is an iron pipe with a diameter of 100 mm and a length of 1 to 1.5 meters. Based on the measured data and design requirements, a pipe jacking machine is used to push a pipe into the receiving well, one section at a time, then another, until it reaches the receiving well.

The mud jacking pipe is a 210 mm diameter iron pipe with each section 1-1.5 meters long. First, the pipe is connected to the mud jacking pipe with a connector. Then, the mud jacking pipe is pushed forward, and a section is added to the jacking section. At this point, the receiving well also folds down a pipe, so that the mud jacking pipe is formed into a section, and the next pipe is folded down, and so on, until a new pipe is replaced.

The excavation screw is installed, with each section 1-1.5 meters long. The excavation screw is pushed into the mud jacking pipe, increasing the section until it reaches the receiving well.

Engineer head installation: The machine head is installed on the mud jacking pipe, connected to the excavation screw, and driven by the machine head. The machine head is powered by a surface hydraulic station and is connected to the hydraulic oil pipe, soil dilution pipe, and lubricant pipe. Pipe jacking, with the pipe installed at the rear of the machine.

Due to the characteristic of the secondary pipe jacking process, which involves placing pipes first and then pipes later, and the smaller pipes at the beginning, the jacking process is easier to control and achieves relatively high precision. Unless there are sudden geological changes, the pipe jacking error is generally less than 1/10 of the pipe's inner diameter.
