1. Preparation

Determine the pipe size and length: Determine the required FRP pipe size and length based on project requirements.

Clean the pipe installation area: Before installation, clean the pipe installation area to ensure it is free of obstructions for easy installation.

Prepare tools and materials: Gather the necessary tools, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and glue, as well as necessary materials, such as pipe supports and fittings.

2. Pipe Pretreatment

Clean the pipe: Before installation, clean and trim the inside and outside of the FRP pipe jacking, as well as the pipe joints, to ensure the pipe surface is smooth and free of damage and impurities.

Pipe reinforcement: If the pipe passes through a bend, reinforce it there to prevent uneven stress at the bend, which could lead to deformation and leakage.

3. Pipe Connection

Socket-and-spigot connection: A socket-and-spigot connection inserts the spigot of one pipe into the socket of another, then seals the connection with glue or other sealing material. The spigot should be reinforced with fiberglass reinforced plastic. Apply an even layer of R-glue to the rebar, then cover with a layer of glass cloth, apply unsaturated resin, and then cover with glass cloth again. Repeat this process until the desired thickness is achieved.

Flange connection: A flange connection is achieved by installing flanges at both ends of the pipe and bolting the two flanges together. Flange connections are suitable for connecting larger diameter pipes.

Butt-weld connection: A butt-weld connection is achieved by heating the ends of two pipes to a molten state and then butting them together to form a welded connection. Butt-weld connections are suitable for connecting pipes under special operating conditions such as high pressure and high temperature.

Interface Leakage: After the connection is completed, perform a leak test to ensure that the pipe is leak-free. If leaks are detected, reconnect the pipe.

IV. Pipeline Securing

Determine the Pipeline Layout: Based on the pipeline design drawings and actual site conditions, determine the pipeline layout and routing.

Installing the Bracket: Install the bracket in an appropriate location based on the length and weight of the pipe. The bracket should be sturdy and reliable, able to support the weight of the pipe and prevent deformation.

Securing the Pipe: Use a wrench or screwdriver to secure the pipe to the bracket to ensure stability. Be careful not to overtighten to avoid damaging the pipe.
