Construction Features of FRP Pipe Jacking

1. Suitable for soft soil or water-rich soft soil layers;

2. No open excavation required, minimal impact on the ground;

5. Large diameter and extra-long jacking can make correction difficult.

Technical Keys of FRP Pipe Jacking

1. Jacking Force Issues: Increase relay rings and slurry lubrication.

Relay ring spacing is 20-200m, decreasing with increasing distance to the tool pipe.

Slurry Function: Lubrication and Sinking Reduction. Slurry Material: Bentonite slurry, stable and with minimal water loss.

Injection Hole Configuration: Axial - The tool pipe is perforated for the first 3-4 sections, followed by perforated holes every 2-5 sections. Circumferential: 3-4 grouting holes are evenly spaced around the circumference.

Grouting principles: Press first, then push, grouting as you push, and replenishing grouting promptly.

2. Directional control: Computer control, laser guidance, or three-section double-hinged pipe.

3. Frontal soil control: Localized pressurization (flushing silos), slurry balance, and the use of an earth pressure balance pipe jacking machine.
