The micro-pipe jacking arrow method is very suitable for the construction of secondary branch pipe networks in densely populated areas. Compared with the traditional excavation and laying of pipes, it has the following advantages:

1. Small impact

(1) Both pipe jacking and shaking wells are constructed by static pressure, without noise pollution;

(2) For the construction of pipes below D600 (inclusive), only one lane needs to be closed, which reduces traffic pressure. Even if the lane is not closed, the work can be rushed at night and steel covers can be added to the wells during the day to ensure that the road is open during the day;

(3) There is no precipitation and no steel sheet piles, which has no impact on surrounding buildings and structures;

(4) Micro-pipe jacking can be constructed in narrow sites where other methods cannot be used.

2. Short construction period

A shaking pipe machine can complete a well in one day, and a pipe jacking machine can complete a 50-meter section of pipe jacking in three days.

3. Low overall cost

The cost of short-distance pipe jacking and pipelines with a burial depth of more than 5 meters is lower than that of trenching and other construction methods. Scope of Application: The micro-pipe jacking method is generally suitable for pipes with a diameter of less than 600mm and a jacking distance of less than 60m (the jacking distance can be increased appropriately when jacking in soft soil). It has a wide range of applications, including municipal pipelines for water supply and drainage, gas, cables, and telecommunications. Pipe materials can include cement pipe, steel pipe, and PVC pipe. It is suitable for a wide range of geological conditions, and can be used in all types of strata except rock.
